The Taos Hum

The Hum is a variety of phenomena involving low-frequency buzzing sound and not everyone can hear it. Hum reported in various places. An example is the famous statement in Taos, New Mexico, so that the Hum is sometimes also called the Taos Hum. Hum reportedly heard throughout the world, especially in Europe. Hum difficult to be detected by a microphone, and the source remains mysterious.

In the 1990s, Hum phenomenon was first reported in North America, when research by the University of New Mexico and complaints many residents who lived near Taos, New Mexico, attracted media attention. However, in the 1970s and the 1980s, a similar phenomenon was also reported by residents, especially in the United Kingdom and other countries like New Zealand. [1]
